LIFE IS A JOURNEY LIFE IS A JOURNEY

Every journey has an end point, and I’ve arrived at mine. FAITH has essentially taught me to be disciplined and conscientious throughout the course of five years. The FAITH schema, as well as the daily devotions, have formed me into the Godly, responsible person that I am today.

IGCSE and A-level Mocks taught me to adapt to the stressful workload, and I am thankful for those trials because they helped me become a stronger person than I was before. I also have to thank God, without whom I would not have made it through the last five years. He was with me the entire time.

The beautiful friendships I established with people I would not have met otherwise are one of the things I will miss most about FAITH.I shall also miss Mr. Odjam’s encouraging words and Soul Week, which brought the class together, and many other things. Since so many events occurred during my religious journey, it feels like a movie in retrospect.

FAITH was a maturation process for me and it was, most certainly, the time in my life when I witnessed the most changes. I remember walking through the halls of FAITH like it was yesterday; I was worried I wouldn’t fit in because I was introverted, but the welcome and pleasant environment on the first day of school convinced me otherwise. When my father told me I was switching schools, I wasn’t too pleased on the notion of coming to FAITH, but I’m glad I did. Daily Devotions and Thursday Worship in FAITH drew me closer to God. Mr. Meisuh’s “Only God can turn that 6/10 into a 9/10” and Mr. Odjam’s “Exam is a strategy, if you miss it, you’re out” kept me going every day during the Mocks.

FAITH has greatly molded and prepared me for the actual world of “college.” With all of the discipline instilled in me and Godly character, I feel I’m ready for anything the world will throw at me because I have been through FAITH’s beautiful furnace of transformation. It has been a roller coaster ride, but worth it.
