FAITH FAMILY EXPERIENCE-2023

‘OUR JOURNEY THROUGH FAITH MONTESSORI SCHOOL (FAITH)’

The Adu-Asah Family

Our association with Faith Montessori School dates back to the year 2001 when our first child, Maame Esi enrolled at the school and was followed subsequently by Nana Kweku and AwuraaEsi, her two other siblings.

The Adu-Asah family acknowledges the hard work carried out by Aunty Emma and School Daddy (of blessed memories) and the teaching staff for nurturing our children into the responsible young adults they have become today, and we cannot thank them enough. We recall with appreciation, the school’s partnership with the Adu-Asah family to construct a multi-purpose facility following Awuraa Esi’selection as Sports Prefect. The idea was the brainchild of Awuraa Esi who was determined to leave an imprint in the school through her passion for sports. We are delighted to note that the facility is serving its purpose.

To God be the Glory, all our children are FAITH Children who are living the values of FAITH.

Maame Esi Takyiwah Adu-Asah is currently working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute after graduating with honours from MCPHS University in Boston, Massachusetts where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Premedical studies and her Master’s degree in Public Health. Our second child, Nana Kweku Adu-Asah, who just completed Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York secured a job with IBM as an Associate Data Engineer with Advanced Analytics as the primary focus.

Awuraa Esi Opokuwah Adu-Asah, the former Sports Prefect has gained admission with a scholarship to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance, at Marist College.

We share these accomplishments to give credence to the fact that Faith Montessori provided them the solid foundation, knowledge, and discipline in positioning them where they find themselves today.

To God be the Glory

THE BINEY FAMILY

We found out about Faith Montessori School through a family friend whose 2 boys were already in the school at Kanda. We met Auntie Emma for the first time at Kanda while I was pregnant with my daughter to make inquiries about admissions. The kind of reception we received made us resolve to quickly enrol our daughter Nana Esi Fynnba Biney in the school. We were invited for an interview when she turned two years and a few months.

She started at Kanda and moved to Gbawe after Buttercup. Nana Kobina Fynn Biney joined Fynnba at Gbawe when she was in Class 5.

I often wondered when the journey to Gbawe would come to an end. Fifteen years flew by and we could not believe our daughter graduated and now Kobby is also done. Fynnba proceeded to Ashesi to study Computer Science. Upon completion, she started a carrier in the United Kingdom with Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer. We thank God that Kobby is also done. Over the years, we have watched them develop not only academically but also emotionally and socially.

The Faith training has nurtured their curiosity, independence, strong Christian values and love for learning, setting a strong foundation for their future journeys.

All too soon our 23 years of Faith Montessori has come to an end. We are forever grateful to God and the entire staff and management of the school for all the time and support for all these years. We pray that the good Lord who has brought us this far will continue to guide all Faith families in the coming years. While they are no longer with us, we want to acknowledge the tremendous support we received from Aunty Emma and School daddy throughout our journey at Faith.

KANKAM FAMILY

OUR FAITH JOURNEY

The journey through Faith Montessori School can be compiled into a novel where we tell the Kankam Family story through the eyes of parents who watched our four very brilliant children mold their individual lives into adulthood.

In 2006 we relocated to Gbawe. Our initial plan was to live in Gbawe for a maximum of five years. Our children; Nana Kwame, Amma and Sarah were already in school whiles Oteng who is graduating today was just four months old. When we enrolled the first three and saw the progress they made in a very short time our five year plan changed because we wanted all our children to have the Faith experience especially faith in the savior Jesus Christ. The zeal to explore and acquire knowledge, the learning tools and adventure at the disposal of learners and encouragement from the staff especially, Mr. Anthony Meissuh, late Aunty Emma and School Daddy made our children confident with a purpose. Amma and Sarah were both Valedictorians of Class of 2018 and 2020 respectively.

We cannot forget Aunty Amonu’s regular supply of candy for Oteng during his Sunflower and Hibiscus days. As parents we benefited too. Our minds and intellects were challenged when we had to research and help the children with their homework and scripts for Soul Week activities. The sleepless nights; Daddy had to stay up to wake someone up to study because the alarm could not. We participated fully in the acquisition of knowledge.

We are so grateful to the school for the knowledge they helped our children acquire. We also remember and appreciate the help we received from late Auntie Emma and School Daddy when our house burnt down.

Many events in life shape us as human beings. Some are easy to point out, some are not so obvious, but our journey through Faith Montessori School is definitely one to remember.

OUR JOURNEY THROUGH FAITH MONTESSORI SCHOOL (FAITH)

THE KULENDI FAMILY

Our 21-year-old relationship with the FAITH family
has been one of true friendship and education.
Our journey together began after we were introduced
to School Daddy and Aunty Emma (both of blessed
memory), by our mutual friends, Mr David BartelsKodwo and Her Ladyship Justice Janapare BartelsKodwo (Mrs).
Faith Montessori School was the perfect solution
for our desire to have a solid foundation in a Christ-centered school in Ghana for Timbille and Wenona,
who were relocating from London. Eventually,
Mwinisori and Yonny Jnr joined them at Faith
Montessori School as well, and we have never looked
back.

The FAITH foundation helped the children tremendously during their formative years and instilled timeless Godly principles and values in them.

Timbille graduated from FAITH and continued to Marist College in New York where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. He has since moved on to set up his own IT solutions company.

Wenona is currently a practicing lawyer and has been called to the Ghana Bar as well as the Bar of England and Wales. She continued from Faith to obtain a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Exeter in the UK. And then pursued her Professional Bar Courses at BPP University in London and the Ghana School of Law.

Mwinisori has also pursued a law degree at the University of Exeter and is currently completing her Legal Practice Course at BPP University. She is also pursuing her passion in the beauty industry and is currently a manicurist. Yonny Jnr, who is graduating today, was the immediate former Assistant Head Boy of the School and is set to pursue a Medical Degree.

We always thank God for aligning our paths with such a remarkable institution. Beyond all the achievements of the children, we are especially grateful for the Godly character that has been instilled in each of them while attending Faith. If we had to make the decision all over again, it will definitely be Faith Montessori School. We pray that God will continue to bless and guide the steps of all the management, teachers and staff in this esteemed institution. Amen. Thank you

The Kwakye Family

Our Faith journey began in 2007 and seeing our boys grow from toddlers into the fine gentlemen that they have become is exciting and a great blessing to us as a family.

It’s always a joy to witness the camaraderie between teachers and students as well as other staff members, which made Kofi and JoJo feel at home and gave us peace of mind knowing our kids were in good hands. For us, Faith has not only been about academics but also the discipline, confidence, and God-fearing values instilled in the children. Remarks on the children’s end-of-term reports as well as interaction with their teachers have shown the effort the teachers put in to get to know the students and we are grateful.

We always looked forward to and enjoyed the school’s Soul Week activities as well as the yearly regional tours. These tours gave the children a great appreciation of the various cultures in Ghana, and we can say they have visited more regions than we have. The Carol Service is amazing and always puts us in the right mood for Christmas. We will miss all these activities, but we’ll always try to attend the Carol Service.

God bless the management and staff of Faith Montessori School; you’ll always be part of our family’s story. Thank you.
