Mrs. Abigail Yartey is a product of Holy Child School in Cape Coast. She graduated from KNUST in 2003 with a degree in BSc Planning, and she later obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Methodist University, Ghana in 2021. Mrs. Yartey holds a diploma in Montessori Education from the North America Montessori Center (NAMC). She joined Faith Montessori School in January, 2004 and has since been teaching Math, Geography, Scripture and Botany and Microscopic Study in Upper Primary.

Teaching has always been her passion and she loves to work with children. She believes every child is unique and must be inspired to develop their abilities and skills to meet the demands of the 21^st Century. Mrs. Yartey asserts that teaching is a noble profession and as a facilitator, she finds fulfillment in seeing young children develop into gorgeous, confident and skillful adults. At her leisure time, she cooks, writes articles and watches movies. Her catch phrases include, “Always do your best to God and mankind”, “Just do the right thing” and “Learning only stops when one dies so keep learning”.
