The Building Blocks for tomorrow: My journey at FAITH
The day I walked into I FAITH, I was welcomed I with a warmness I could never forget. Mr. Chrysanthus, Ama, Kishi and Isaac were some of the first people in my new class to ever talk to me. They made me feel as if I was a long-lost friend who had just returned to school and after my first day, I wasn’t opposed to the idea of actually being part of the FAITH community.
I was never quite able to quickly grasp the syllabus but Auntie Emma (May her soul rest in peace) made me realize that it wasn’t beyond my reach. She and I had remediation classes for a full term and thanks to the LaSaCaWac method, learning actually became easier. (more…)
